rainy day

I woke up at about 330 this morning to the rain (and stash deciding that he wanted me to pet him) and was up for about 1/2 hour listening to it. Thought I would get in a quick blog before my work day begins. Today I have a ccubed class for the first 4 hours of my day the I head to work.

I have been eating really healthy lately and I feel great. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Lat night I had veggie burgers and broccoli. I have been working out diligently and trying to stay on track.

This past weekend went by way too fast-I am sure enjoying having the weekends off. Saturday I went to Kensington and walked around their nature area and then I went to the movies. Saw the new Leonardo movie Inception and it was fantastic. I will be going to see it again.

a vicious cycle

As my blogging has fell to the wayside so has my healthy living. Eating healthy is a full time job in itself and working out is such a challenge. Not because I don't have the time but because, lets face it people, I am lazy!

But today I had enough and I once again motivated myself. I forced my ass (which, unfortunately, has not gotten any smaller as I had intended it too when I started this blog) off the couch and I worked out. And lo and behold not even 10 minutes into my workout I already felt 100% better and extremely motivated. Now lets keep this motivation up!

I am 29 years old now. This is my last year in my 20's and I have set a goal. And that goal is to be in the best shape of my life by the time I turn 30. I want people to look at me and think "damn, I wish I had her body." I want to be completely and totally comfortable with my body. But mostly I just want to be healthy. I want eating healthy to be a way of life for me-something that I am so use to doing that it just comes naturally to me.

So I am off to a good start. Jillian Michael's kicked my ass today. Just 25 minutes with her and its actually tough to sit here and type. I can feel it in every muscle in my body and muscles that I did not know existed. So lets raise our glasses (of water that is) to healthy living!
And when the going gets tough and you don't think you can push yourself anymore I want you to remember:

I was loving the sunshine today!!!!
I went to breakfast with my friend Julie at the Grecian and then we wondered around Downtown Plymouth. I really love it down there and I really don't think I would mind living down there at all! (expensive!!!!)

After that I decided that I had not had enough of downtown so I sat by the fountain and read my book for a few hours.

When I came home I found StashBitty in the hall with the girl who lives upstairs. Apparently he snuck out without me knowing and was wondering in the hallway for 4 hours without me! Luckily the girl was sweet and she gave him some water and closed the basement door so he did not get into any more trouble. And of course she spent time petting him! I am so glad that he did not end up getting outside. I am going to buy harnesses and leashes for these boys and get them outside!

Went for a jog around the neighborhood after that and soaked up some more sun! (with plenty of sunscreen!)
Made a bunch of grilled chicken and roasted vegetables to get my healthy eating back on track!!

All in all a great day off!

This past weekend I drove to see Brad for the night. It was fun driving my car-I love it!
Had fun up there, they had a Military themed party. Drank a little too much and felt it the next day! You think I would have learned my lesson by now!

This weekend I am excited for a bachelorette party that I am going to on Saturday! Should be a lot of fun and hopefully I am not feeling that for 2 days after! :)

Really love this little cow that I bought at a garage sale when I went to a bunch of garage sales with my mom last week. Its funny I could buy so much stuff and this little cow that cost 10 cents just makes me smile every time I see it! It reminds me of my Grandma and that is a great memory to have.

Wow, I am really bad at keeping up with this whole blogging thing. I really do have good intentions yet somehow the days pass by and I do not blog. I guess there really is not a whole lot to blog about anyway.
Been trying to keep up with eating well and working out. I have continued to work out pretty consistently however, I have not been so strict on the eating well part. But now, I am back on track! So far, I have lost 13 lbs in that past few months which is enough to make me smile! Now I am going to step it up! Kick start it again.

I can not believe it is almost May! I am excited for Michigan to go Smoke Free on Saturday!
I am also excited to go to a Tigers Game on Saturday! Hopefully it doesn't storm like it is supposed to!
Eat em up Tigers! Eat em up!
I am ready for summer to be here, enough with this crazy weather, bring on the heat wave (and hopefully lots of camping ((smores))).

Been too long!
Saturday my Mom and Dad have us over for dinner and it was delicious! I'm always down for some lasagna! It was nice to see Chris and Marissa-I do not see them enough!

I have been doing really good with my change of lifestyle as I like to call it. I have a new application for my Ipod called MyFitnessPal and I have to record everything I eat in there. So...every time I want to eat something bad I think twice because I do not want to enter it in! I have been doing some serious working out and I feel really good. Brad and I went for a 2 mile jog after I came home from work and it was awesome! We didn't stop once! :D

Tomorrow is my day off and I am excited! I always look forward to those days off! I'm going to do some cleaning and what not. Nothing too exciting but the day is mine!

I have been feeling kinda blah (besides feeling good about eating healthy) and I think it is because my body is adjusting to eating healthy?! I never realized how always would eat chocolate or something really yummy every time I felt bored or sad. Now I just have to push through the boredness!
Work is so boring to me and it is so hard. I am trying so hard to find a new job and I have been for quite a while now. I need some brain stimulation and I just can not take this retail garbage any more. I have no patience whatsoever and I am afraid that it is gone forever.

I can not wait because I know that one day I will find a new job and for a while I will be so happy to be the person that does not know anything! I want to learn something new and I do not want to ring up peoples groceries anymore! This was not the plan that I had for my self!

Oh well. Regardless of the 40 hours a week that I spend working (everyone has to do it!) I am still very content with my life:D

Tomorrow is my day off! yay! I live for my days off (even if I am just going to be cleaning all day!).
Nothing really new-just been working, working out and eating healthy. I have been bored lately at work and starting to wander towards the candy but have been pretty darn good at resisting if I do say so myself!

I am thinking that I am going to weigh myself sometime next week but I am not too sure yet. I try not to think about how much I weigh and just try and focus on feeling good about myself. I often think when I step on the scale that the number should be lower and I do not want to have any discouragement this early in the game!

Excited for this weekend to have dinner at my parents house and see Chris and Marissa.
Also going to the Michigan Gold Expo with Brad. (He is super excited about that!)

I just cleaned my bathroom so I do not have to worry about cleaning that tomorrow since it is my least favorite!

Now I am just going to relax and read a book.

Playin' hooky

Today I woke up and the idea of going to work did not sound appealing at all...so I played hooky. I have been thinking about using a sick day for a while now and today felt like the perfect day.
Yesterday I was off work so I went to breakfast with Amy, Target and then to visit my Mom:)

Last night Brad and I went to dinner with his cousin Abby (A) and her boyfriend Adam (A). We went to Bd's Mongolian BBQ. It was delicious! (and I managed to make it fairly healthy and didn't overeat! Although the few beers that I had didn't help but they were delicious too!)
Then we hung out at their apartment and Abby gave me a farm and cafe on facebook! :D

This morning Brad (B) and I went for a jog, about 30 minutes, and then did a bunch of ab workouts. Now I feel refreshed and ready to go! Its hard to run outside in the snow and ice but surprisingly refreshing. He had to push me because I have a hard time jogging for a long distance but in the end it was worth it! (Thanks B!)

I have been eating healthy all week and doing really good. I have not had a lot of sweets (even though I may think about them all the time:D) so last night when I had a bite it was sooooooo delicious!

Now Brad and I are going to go to Dick's sporting goods and I think I am going to buy a hula hoop! Supposed to be a good workout and they have special ones with weights for an even better work out!

Another day...another couple dollars...

Another Tuesday come and another Tuesday (almost) gone.
Worked today and it was pretty lame. I did, however, eat healthy:) I have been eating pretty well for the past 2 days and it feels good!
I have been working out and that feels good! I am doing good so far and I am proud of myself!

It sure is hard to change the way I think.
Earlier I was trying to work out on my treadmill and after about 6 minutes it would stop and then I would have to reset it. After the 2ND time that it did this I was really frustrated (I was frustrated to begin with just because I have been all day) and immediately I thought "forget it I'm just going to go eat some cookies and Ill just try again tomorrow!" and then I caught myself! I called myself out, like hey girl, calm down!

I really do eat my emotions!
I know that sometimes at work when I am frustrated or even just really bored I would go and get something yummy from the bakery. That would make me smile for a minute but in the long run did me no good.
So now that I am paying closer attention to this behavior I think I am gaining better control over it.

I did give up on my treadmill for the time being but I didn't give up! I did some ab exercises with Brad (bless is patient soul! He just took my frustration in stride!) and I jogged with the Wii! I actually ended up getting about 30 minutes of exercise in and worked up a decent sweat! I jogged for 10 minutes straight, over a mile and I don't think I have done that since they made me run the mile in high school!

So in not giving up and working through my frustrations I accomplished what I wanted too! And now I feel good and I didn't eat any cookies!

I drank a few mugs of yogi healthy fasting tea to get me through the night!

All in All a good day (minus the 8 hours I had to spend at work!)

Stop And Smell The Roses

Another weekend comes to an end.
I love weekends even though I do not have your normal Monday thru Friday job. (Of course I love them even more when I don't have to work them!)
Pretty low key this weekend. Brad went snowboarding with the boys from school so I had the weekend to myself.

Friday I went to dinner with Julie from work and Saturday I had to work all night. Then I hung out and watched the raccoon outside with Stash and tried to be as excited as he was but I just couldn't do it!

Today I was off work so I cleaned up around my apartment and went to Barnes and Noble and wondered around for a while.
Brad came over after he got home and we watched Hitch (great movie...makes me laugh every time!) and ate some dinner.
Now its 10pm already and the weekend is gone:(

I just got off the dreadmill after a 50 minute fast walk:) And I feel great! I worked out yesterday morning too before work. Every time I work out I feel so great and refreshed and I know that I should do it more often.

I decided that I wanted to save the gorgeous roses that Brad bought me for Valentines Day so I am drying them out. They are hanging upside down in my dark, dry closet and then I am going to spray them with a sparkly shiny spray that I can buy at Micheal's. Then I can put them back in their vase and keep them forever! I love pretty flowers but I always feel so bad when I have to throw them away because they die.

Well that's about it for now!
As for my updates on me being healthy-I did not eat very well this weekend but I did get a lot of exercise. If only I could find my happy medium...Ill just keep working on that!

lets get serious

I have decided to take my blog in a different direction. From here on out I will be blogging about my struggles with my weight on a day to day basis. I am always thinking about my weight and how I wish this and I wish that and yet if nothing changes,nothing changes.

So damnit, I say lets get serious.

Its real simple. I want to be able to put on a bathing suit (or even a tank top for that matter) and be comfortable with myself. I want to be able try on jeans and not be close to tears because once again, they don't fit. I want to be able to wear a pair of shorts in the summer (and I mean a real pair of jean shorts) And that doesn't mean that I have to be a size 5. That just means that I have to be comfortable with my body.

I figure that if I blog about my struggles every day then I will be more likely to hold myself accountable for my eating behavior. Day after day I wake up and say "Hey! today is the day, I am going to eat healthy, I am going to work out!" and by the time the afternoon rolls around I figure I can just start again tomorrow.

So its time to put it all out there.

I know that I am beautiful inside and out but I am unhappy with my weight.
I am unhappy with my body.
I love to eat. I eat when I am bored, I am when I am sad, I eat to celebrate!
I strive for perfection and when I fail-there is no going back. And I justify it all.

I know that I have to change the way I look at all of this. I know that just because I eat a couple cookies or a piece of cake that does not mean that I should chow down on some pizza. I have a tendency to think that if I can not workout hardcore for 45 minutes then what's the point? I know that any exercise is good exercise.

So here and now, its time for a different outlook. I will do my best every day to eat healthier. I will do my best to get exercise-any exercise. And that will be my "perfection". And I will hold myself accountable for my eating and will not justify all the bad stuff that I am eating.
I will do my best and I will struggle, but I will succeed.

Because a year from now, I will wish I had started today.
So I am.

My mom and I saw this in the bathroom at a funeral home earlier this week and it has been in my head all week. Rest peacefully Aunt Diana. We miss you.

Been a long week and I am glad for a day off tomorrow. I have a lot of cleaning to do and laundry and what not. But that is ok because I am going on a cruise in 2 weeks!
I am so looking forward to sunshine and relaxation and heat!

Saturday starts my online Microsoft office class! And next Thursday starts my other 2 classes!
I am pumped!

Friday night I am going to a bowling fundraiser. :) Should be fun and the money is for a good cause.

Welcome to a New Year! And it is going to be a great one! (It is going to be what I make it and I am going to make it a great one!)
So far I have so much to look forward to this year!
Let me list a few things...
1. Cruise baby! 3 weeks!
2. Nickelback Concert in February-my fav band!
3. School! Yes! I can not wait to go back to school!
and if all goes as planned...
4. A new Job!

Thinking back on all the past years-they have all been great ones too. There have been some ups downs but for the most part they have been great. I have had a lot to be thankful for such as my amazing family, my cats, my steady, dependable job, my health, an amazing boyfriend! The list goes on...

I do have a few New Year Resolutions that I will try my best to stick by...although I can not guarantee it every day...(and I noticed that a lot of them are similar to my Mom's:) Like mother like daughter!)

1. Be more positive. ( I am very optimistic for the most part but lately I tend to find myself being bogged down by negative thoughts revolving around my job.) I do not like being negative.

2.Exercise more. Brad brought over the treadmill that was sitting in his garage and I am going to try and work out more-I do good when the weather is nice and now I have no excuse for when the weather is bad. I feel so much better when I exercise and I love the healthy glow that it gives my skin!

3. Save money. I am pretty good with my money however, I know that I could do a lot better. I tend to like to spend money just because I have it. I love using coupons and I think I do pretty well when I am grocery shopping. My weakness is if I am bored then I head to Kohl's and Target and I can never leave without spending $100.

4. Be more organized. I have closets and cupboards that have things falling out of them when you open the door. I vow to organize them every week and I do not...it is time to get on that...sometime this year...

5. Clean more...the little details, dusting and what not. The overall appearance is great but if you took a closer look...ew...

6. Recycle!

Christmas 2008

Well it is time to say goodbye to another Christmas and soon it will be time to say goodbye to 2008...another year gone and boy what a fast year!
I had a very nice Christmas and I am exhausted!
I opened a lot of gifts and gave a lot too:) Although presents are not the meaning of Christmas they sure are fun!
It is always nice to see my family and spend time with everyone!

Lazy Day...

Lots of snow fell today. It is beautiful and I love a white Christmas. Today I did not work and I hung around the apartment all day. I was in pajamas all day:) I cleaned and cleaned! I also wrapped some presents and did some laundry. I hung a shelf on the wall and played with my cats. and by about 6 pm after my nap I was bored to tears!
Tomorrow I am off also and I am awaiting Brad's arrival. I have not seen him in 2 weeks and I miss him like crazy.
I have to finish off my Christmas shopping! I am pumped for Christmas. I love the holidays. I also have to decide what I want to do on New Years Eve. Probably something low key-that's my kind of plan. Maybe a fancy dinner that I can get dressed up for-that's my kind of plan.
Sometime I want to head to downtown plymouth and walk around and look at the Christmas trees. I love doing that! Plus I can take a lot of pictures and scrapbook it!

Well it is late and I can not sleep.
Today I was off work and I did a lot of Christmas shopping. Somehow I am not done yet. It never ends this Christmas shopping! I also had my hair colored and cut a little. I spent a lot of my day at 12 oaks. I did some laundry, Wii and watched the rest of my Sex and the City DVDs. Now I just sitting here listening to music. Currently I am listening to "All Cried Out", a old song that I like. It is kinda sad though but I am in a sort of sad mood.
Amy called me earlier this evening and said that they gave Mark the manager 12-24 hours left to live. Apparently he went from bad to worse pretty quickly. I have just been thinking about him and his wife and children and I feel so sad for them. My heart goes out to all of them. The holidays are coming so soon and the whole situation is so heartbreaking. It really makes me think about everything and I am so thankful for everything that I have. You have to remember to live every day to the fullest and be oh so thankful.
I am off again today. It was my weekend in the middle of the week (kinda!) (and hooray!).
Tonight I am going out with Julie and Kendal. We are going to get dressed up and head out to dinner at PF Chang's. Then we are going to hang out at my apartment. Girls Night!

Brad is deserting me this weekend, heading to the mountains to Snowboard! But the good news is that he will be home next Saturday for 3 whole months! I am looking forward to it, I miss him so much!
I have to finish my shopping today-no excuses. I am looking forward to Christmas at my parents house. It should be nice:)

Playin' hooky

Happy Saturday! Today I played hooky from work. :) Lets just say that I was in desperate need of a mental health day.
I did a lot of Christmas shopping yesterday but I am still not even close to done. I have Thursday and Friday off so I plan on having it finished by then.
I have been quite proud of myself lately. I fixed my Christmas tree so it is no longer a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. :) It looks quite beautiful with a hanging star (the star is not supposed to hang but it is inevitable) and lots of presents underneath.
I fixed my vacuum! (Thanks Mom! The belt was broke!)
I have vacuumed 3 times since then. There is just something about freshly vacuumed carpet!
I have a hair cut and color on Thursday. I want a little bit cut off because I really have liked it short now that I am getting better at blow drying it so it frames my face. I also want my color done again so it is a little darker brown for the holidays.
Counting down the days until the cruise! I am excited to get all dressed up!
Mom and I are going to go shopping for that!

It's Christmas time...

I love the snow:) I am just relaxing and watching the snow fall. Had a good few days off, save for the terrible, horrible headache. I decorated my apartment for Christmas. Kitties love sleeping underneath the Christmas Tree. I hung some lights in the windows and wrapped my pictures in wrapping paper.

Did some shopping on Friday early morning. Had a nice Thanksgiving just wish that II would have felt a little better and been able to enjoy the food! It was nice to see Brad for a whole weekend! I am excited that in 3 weeks he will be home for 3 months!
I am pumped because also because Nickelback (my favorite band!) is coming to Joe Louis in February! YES!!!!! I have been waiting for them!

Head back to work tomorrow. (lame!) I am off again on Friday. Ready for an awesome vacation in January!

Relaxing weekend!

Snow!

Just thought I would update a little. There is snow on the ground! Yes! I went for a walk this morning, it was extremely refreshing! Now I have to jet off to work soon here. I can not wait until Thursday and Friday, those are my days off this week!
Went to dinner with my Mom and aunts and cousin on Friday then went and saw the new MGM with my mom. Lost miserably. But it was fun none the less. Saturday I worked all day-lame lame lame. Same for yesterday, but at least yesterday I was able to watch all the snow falling. Then I came home and sat on my ass! Now today I feel like I have been totally lazy hence the long walk I took this morning.
Tonight I am going to Wii fit, she is gonna be mad, it has been like 4 days! uh oh! I'm in for a lecture.
That's about it for now, just work work work all week. I can not wait until Friday when Brad comes home:)

Snow

Looked out the window not too long ago and what did I see? Snow! The first snow of the season. I can not believe how fast this year has gone by, before we know it is going to be 2009!
Tomorrow is the start of another week! They are all flying by. I bought an adorable teddy bear today that I saw at work. I had to have him! Lol. His name is Hudson.

Not a whole lot planned for the week. Candle party on Tuesday. Work. Cleaning. That's about it.

TGIF! Finally a day off work. It feels like forever! Yesterday I bought a Christmas tree! The holidays are coming! I am so excited already...plus when the new year hits, the cruise will only be a few weeks away! I am starting to pick up some scrap booking supplies already! That is going to be the best vacation ever to scrapbook!

These holidays are going to be awesome! Because if I am really lucky, they might possibly be my last holidays at Hiller's! My longing for a new job is stronger every day! This June I will hit my 10 year mark! Oh goodness! While Hiller's has been a great place to work, and if need be I could work there for the rest of my life and retire from their, I need a challenge! I need a job that keeps me thinking on a daily basis! Something that I can call a career and be proud of myself. I am capable of so much more than Hiller's could ever offer me.

Went to Target last night. I think I might have a minor addiction to Target. Which I guess is somewhat harmless it is just so easy to spend a lot of money there. Besides the Christmas tree I bought some catnip kitty toys that are Christmas colors. I have to hide them until at least December. Also bought some makeup and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Best holiday movie next to Christmas Story.

Tonight I am going to visit Brad at this apartment. We are going to go eat at Sonic ( you know that commercial you see all the time but there is not one in Michigan?) They just opened one up right by his college. I think I might have to take a picture or two and scrapbook a page about it!
Tomorrow I am going to the bar for Amy's birthday.
That is my exciting weekend and that is all for now!

November Rain

Can't believe it is November already! I have already started to think of Christmas ideas and am actually getting excited. I love the holidays!
This morning I went for a long walk since I do not have to work until this afternoon. I loved the way that everything looked with the leaves on the ground and it had rained sometime this morning. It was very calming! I have to work all this week and then I am off Friday and Saturday. Friday night I am going up to see Brad. Nothing else too exciting planned for me.
I was scrapbooking last night and the time just flew by. I could spend so much money on all these scrapbooking things! I absolutely love it!

I am now officially registerd for school! I am going to be certified in Medical Billing! I am so excited I wish that classes started next week!
I have 3 classes. My CIS class (computer information systems) is online so we will see how that one goes.
My medical insurance coding class is Thursday mornings at Radcliff 9-12 ( the only place it was offered this semester) and medical terminology is at scraft Thursday from 6-10.
I am pumped!
Every day I daydream about a new job! It is time for something more challenging and rewarding!

Halloween

Halloween is this Friday! That means that Thanksgiving is in a month and Christmas is less than 2 months away! That is crazy! The other day I bought a cute jingle bell thing that goes on the door. I could not resist, all the stores have their Christmas decorations out!

Anyway, nothing really new has been going on. I had my hair cut on Thursday and colored dark again. I like one solid color as opposed to highlights so dark was the way to go! I have received a lot of compliments so I am thinking that it looks good!
Friday I have a Halloween party to go to and I do not know what I am going to be! Today is my only day off until Saturday so I am thinking that maybe I should get cracking on that!

Well tonight we had the fundraiser that we were planning for a manager that we have worked with for a long time. Mark was diagnosed with brain cancer a few months ago. I have to admit that I was really impressed with the turnout. People really have a way of coming together when you need them too. Kendal, Amy and I made shirts especially for the occasion. Black tshirts with F to the 3rd power...meaning, Fraser Family Fundraiser. We managed to raise over $3,000 for the family and it was really truly a great feeling to give it to Mark and Cindy before they left tonight. It really feels amazing doing something so selfless and thoughtful for someone else. Also there was a anonymous donation given to the family in $24,000!
It was a very successful night!

Sayonara Sunday

Had a good weekend:) Brad surprised me and came home on Friday. We hung out all weekend after I worked. Last night we carved pumpkins!!!! I carved a skull and crossbones and he carved some scary looking face. We used the book and little carving tools. I am not so good at that...you need patience and I was lacking them! (and I was blogging the other day about patience being a virtue)
Been working and working out on the Wii fit. My muscles all ache at the moment from doing all these crazy strength exercises (strength is not my strong point!) and yoga. Ha! Yoga is tough!
Tonight I went and saw Nights in Rodanthe with Julie from work. Excellent movie. Although I only suggest you see it if you feel like crying for an hour and then possibly another hour after it ends!
So here is to the end of another good weekend. I work all week and am off on Friday and Saturday. Friday I am going to visit Brad and Saturday I have to back a bunch of cookies for the fundraiser which is on Sunday!

Patience is a virtue

I lost my patience at about 3:10 this afternoon. I guess 5 hours is my limit for stupidity and rudeness. I do not take my work home with me but sometimes when I do think about it later in the night, I am baffled. Never would I walk into an establishment and treat people the way that I see some customers treating employees. I know that not everyone can have a smile of their face 24/7 (employees and customers). Everyone is entitled to have their bad moods. Hell, I even condone it. Let it out! Get rid of all that stress and frustration! It is healthy! Good for the body and soul! I just think that people need to watch who they are taking their frustration out on.
They say that you hurt the ones you love the most. Well, HAHA then the customers at my work sure must love all us cashiers!
Patience is a virtue.
There are days when my patience is endless and I feel that nothing can frustrate me. Unfortunately there are days when the tiniest thing can totally throw my whole day off.
Sometimes the simplest gesture can help brighten a person's day. A smile, a wave, a hello, a little laugh at their joke. And just thinking that I may be able to brighten someones day, well, that brightens mine instantly.

Rainy day

It is a pretty dreary day out but I kinda like it. I worked hard yesterday cleaning my apartment so now I do not really have that much to do today. I am thinking I should hit up Kohls 50% off sale today:) That is always a good time. Plus I have a new book to read. Other than that today is my last day off and then I am going to have to work every day until next Friday. That should be loads of fun! Oh well, its ok to keep me busy.
Right now I am just hanging out with my cats. Tonight I am going bowling!
Other than that that is all that is going on in my world.

Manic Monday

Even though I work most weekends (so I don't traditionally have a "weekend") there is just something about Mondays. I guess you can say I got a case of the "muundays"! Haha. Monday at work is always lame. It is ad Monday so when I go in I have a zillion of tags to hang. It is actually a very simply task just tedious and lame dash o.
So here is to a start of a GREAT week!

Although now that I think about it, I have Tuesday and Wednesday off so technically today is my Friday! WOO HOO! TGIM! That is a good way to get rid of the Monday BlueS!

Well as my vacation comes to an end this chilly Saturday night I am feeling a little bit sad. :) It always sad to have to go back to work! But it was a great vacation. I bought a wii and then a wii fit and I have been having a blast playing with it. I am so sore though! But I had so much fun playing my parents Wii that I had to buy my own! It was nice to have my Mom do some of my laundry! Thanks MOM! Dinner is on my next time;)
Right now I am getting ready to head over to a friends house and just hang out. Gotta head back to work in the morning.
Today I helped Brad move into his apartment at school and then went to dinner with him and his room-mates. It is always a little sad when he leaves for school but I know that it is only for 3 months:) It is double exciting when he comes home for the winter because it will almost be Christmas! (Don't wanna think about that yet!)
Nothing else is really new though. The other day the cats got out and I managed to grab them both at the same time. (See pic below)
Currently I am helping Kendal and Amy plan a fundraiser for a family at work. A manager of ours from Hiller's was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and then found out that is has spread and he has brain cancer. His wife works with us also and we are trying to raise money for them and their little girls. We have planned a bowling fundraiser on October 19th at Plaza lanes. Keep your fingers crossed that there is a huge turnout. They are really great people and I have worked with them both for many many years. I keep them in my thoughts and prayers all the time. It is really sad. Cancer Sucks.
So now I sit, saying goodbye to my vacation. To my Brad.

Today was a pretty uneventful day. I went grocery shopping:) That's always fun to me. Then I cleaned the bathroom! *ugh..that always sucks. Then I made some teriyaki chicken and it was yummy. Now I am just hanging around playing Wii. Yep I bought a Wii yesterday. I can not find the Wii fit yet. But I can not wait because that will be fun. Anyway, nothing else too exciting going on. Just loungin' around in my comfy pants!

Adios Weekend

Went to the Erwin's Cider Mill yesterday with Brad and some of his family (see right). Ate some yummy donuts and a cider slush. That was interesting.
Today I went and saw my wonderful parents. I had fun playing on their Wii. I am going to try tomorrow to find one for myself.
A little bit ago I was sitting here and I looked out the sliding door and there was a black cat there and he was sniffing at Stash through the screen. Stash apparently did not appreciate the invasion of his space because he hissed and growled and cried for about 5 minutes. I am not sure that he has fully recovered yet.
As for wiggy, he had no clue what was going on (typical).
I went for a long walk this evening. ( I actually managed to jog half of it!) GO ME!
Have to keep motivated so I can be in good shape lookin' beautiful for the cruise!
It has been a good weekend and I am looking forward to this coming week.

I have to admit that I am really enjoying this whole blogging thing. Every time I think about something I am like "yeah, I'm gonna blog that shit!" So now here I am blogging it. Went to target today, bought a really cute black shelf to fill some of the wall space in my apartment. As soon as I set the shelf down on the table Stash was in it, which made for a really cute picture. See Below. Then I went to the movies with Kendal. We saw "The Women" with Meg Ryan. I thought it was cute but a little dragged out and lacked some substance! Then we checked out a pet store and looked at some cute puppies. After that we hit up Trader Joe's. I bought some interesting tortilla chips and spinach dip. YUM! The tortilla chips had flax seed in them and are made out of carrots, beets and spinach. They are not too bad!
After that I headed to Brads to eat some Thai food and wish his dad a happy birthday. Now I am at home about to watch "Sex and the City" and drink a really yummy raspberry beer!
Enjoyed my day and am trying to find the ideal spot to hang my shelf. I know that it is here in this apartment somewhere!

Hello All! Thank goodness its Friday! It is the first day if my vacation. So far I have cleaned the apartment, done all my laundry and baked some chocolate chip cookies! So far loads of fun I am having! Later I am going to see a movie with my friend Kendal. I think we are going to see "the women" at Imagine theatre. Sometime soon I am going to head over to best buy and pick up "sex and the city" and then I am going to make Brad watch it with me:).

Good Morning:) I am heading off to work for 1 more day and then I am on vacation! Tonight I am looking forward to watching the season premiere of The Office (NBC at 9 pm) if anyone else is interested. Jim and Pam are crazy in love and we all know I love a good love story!

I love the fall. I think it is my favorite season of all! (but that is subject to change!) One more day of work until I have a vacation from work. I can not wait. I am planning on hitting up the cider mill once or twice and the zoo:) I have not been to the zoo in a few years!
Currently I am very excited to be heading back to school hopefully this coming winter at Schoolcraft. I am going to be enrolling in the medical biller/receptionist certification program. I think this is something that I will truly enjoy for the most part. Hopefully somewhere along the way I will find my calling. Lately I have been starting to think that maybe I just do not have a calling! Damnit, I am determined to find mine!

Well I thought that maybe I would try out this whole blogging thing. Seems like it might be fun to type out all my crazy thoughts and then be able to share them with my friends and family. Lets start out with a little bit about me.

I have an amazing family whom I love very much.
Then there is my awesome boyfriend Brad who makes me laugh all the time and makes me very happy.
I have 2 degrees and I am a cashier!
